Bowing down to something or someone is saying that you surrender your entire life to that thing or to that person. It is considered an extremely humiliating thing to do. You only bow down to something/someone that deserves your upmost respect, right? It is something we rarely do, if ever!

However, what many people don’t realize is that they don’t bow down to a physical person, but they do bow to their problems. They give in to the pains, traumas, anxiety, sickness, depression, unemployment, broken family and the list goes on.

There is a point in life that a person reaches when they’ve had enough. That point when a person can’t take it anymore. They even become fed up with going to church. They have gone from church to church, hearing songs and praises the whole time and it hasn’t brought any results.

A person goes to church to see the power of God work in their life, when that doesn’t happen they get frustrated and tired. And quoting bible verses doesn’t change things, if you don’t live by the scriptures.

It is written,

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.

Isaiah 43:2

Many are drowning in their problems. It takes away their peace, their joy, and their life…they are overflowed with this problem. God is saying that if you use real faith, pure faith, this problem will not drown you.

There are two types of faith PURE FAITH and RELIGIOUS FAITH. The difference between pure faith and religious faith is that religious faith follows just words alone, theories, theology etc. It doesn’t bear fruits and it has no power. Pure faith on the other hand is sincere, it is true and it brings results.

May the God of the Bible bless all of you!
