For over a year we have been wearing masks. We spent this time only seeing the eyes of people in the supermarket, post office, on the street and we adapted to the ‘new norm’. From time to time you have even probably found yourself whispering out loud whilst deep in thought because no one can see your mouth. Perhaps, your facial expressions have been more in use than ever before – pulling faces behind a mask because no one would notice. But now as time has been slowly making a shift back to “normal” you find yourself being more cautious of what you do and say, because there is no more hiding behind a mask.

Newsflash: a face mask has no impact on what God can see. He knows who we are. God knows the deepest thoughts of our soul. So why pretend?

Let us always be honest with Him, and express even those thoughts that we want no one else to see. Today, you can make the decision to say, “God here I am. This is who I am, and I need to change, but I need your help.”

He will help you. Don’t be afraid to show Him the real you. After all, He already sees through your mask!
