When buying a cologne, you would never accept to pay full price for a knock-off. 

When buying clothing, you would not accept to pay top dollar for a copy of your favorite clothing line. 

The devil wants you to have a counterfeit life. A life that is contrary to the life that God has for you. 

God wants you to be His own image, but the devil wants you to be his image. The devil’s image is a life full of problems like depression, homelessness, suicidal thoughts, etc. These are all the image of the devil and you must refuse them. 

Just like an original fragrance or item of clothing is always the best, God wants you to take on His image, which is surely the best!

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26 

You were created by God and your faith is the key to unlock this life of dominion. You were not created to be dominated but to dominate!

But you can only acquire the image of God when you receive the Holy Spirit. Take these last few days of 2021 to invest in your spiritual life. You will receive the image of God and when people look at you,  your entire life will reflect His greatness.
