“Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, ‘Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.’ Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire.”
(Daniel 3:26)
God doesn’t spare us from tribulations, but He frees us in the midst of tribulation. He didn’t spare me from prison, but He freed me in prison. God allows us to go through hard times and through the valley of the shadow of death, but if we keep our faith up and don’t listen to the voice of doubt, He will always rescue us. We have to hold on to the assurance that our God never fails.
Between listening to God’s voice and the voice of the world, we have to stick to His Word, without a shadow of doubt. The devil, knowing that God cannot fail, tries to cast doubts and fears into our minds so that we believe his words of defeat and not believe the Word of God. It’s absurd! Exchanging faith in the infallible Word of the Living God for faith in the word of a defeated liar!
The word of doubt relies on your willingness to believe it. If you believe a word of doubt, it becomes strong, and you yourself end up destroying everything you’ve been building through your faith. But if you trust God even in the midst of a burning fiery furnace, you and everyone else who is with you will see the salvation of your God.
There’s a message from the Lord Jesus for you today: “Did I not say to you that if you believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)
