People don’t joke when it comes to their credit score! Take for example someone with a credit score of 850. If a family member or friend asks them a favor like, please take out a car loan under your credit or co-sign this car for me… (before they even finish speaking they give them the long speech).

Of course, the person has all the rights to defend their credit because it was through their hard work and discipline, sometimes even sacrifices that earned them such a great credit score. They know and value their credit score because through it they have unlimited access to a lot of things.

Now comparing the two in the example I just gave, there is a big difference; there is one with limited access and there is one with unlimited access to the things of life that brings comfort and a certain status of living.

Two men in the Bible had the same difference (limited vs. unlimited). Take a look below.

Limited:

But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. (Luke 16:20-21)

Lazarus was miserable and poor, dogs were licking his sores because he was poor and sick. He was living a life of lack. Now tell me, how is your life?

Unlimited:

Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. (Genesis 24:1)

Abraham was a man of sacrifice and he gained abundant life and eternal life through his obedience to the voice of God.

Lazarus or Abraham, who are you? This answer will depend on the risk you are willing to take.

What are you willing to do to have unlimited access to the abundant life promised? A good credit score is not able to grant you such access.

May the God of the Bible bless you.
