Natural and the supernatural….. what’s the difference between the two?

If I were to take you to the beach and tell you to open the sea, what would you do? Would you freeze up, open the sea or most likely call me crazy?

If I was to tell you to pick up a chair, what would you do? Would you still call me crazy or would you pick up the chair?

There you have it. That’s the difference between natural and supernatural faith. Supernatural faith is something that may seem crazy but you do it out of assurance and in full belief that it will happen. Natural faith is something that you don’t think twice about, you just naturally do it and trust in it. It’s something easy to you.

Many people have faith for natural things but they have no faith when it comes to things that are unusual and supernatural. But you need to have supernatural faith to receive something extraordinary.

Moses and all the people of Israel were stuck in front of the Red Sea and cried out to God. Gods response to him was “stop crying and cross the sea” meaning use your supernatural faith and I’m with you, I’ll make the impossible possible.

And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. Exodus 14:15-16

Moses and the Israelites were in a situation that they would have to use supernatural faith or they would be killed. They were running away from the Egyptians and came to a dead end. In front of them was the Red Sea, behind them was an army trying to kill them. Moses’ only choice was to be killed or split that sea in two. That’s when He used supernatural faith and stretched out his rod toward the sea and divided it so that they could cross over it.

When God is on your side, never forget what you are capable of. God gives you the faith and when you use it, He makes the impossible become possible. That is supernatural faith!

May the God of the Bible bless all of you!
