Have you ever heard the expression, “My hands are tied”? It’s usually used to say that someone is unable to act freely because something prevents it.
Perhaps you’ve used it a few times, yourself. “I’d like to buy this but my hands are tied because of my financial situation.” Or, “I’d like to get all the family together but because we’re fighting, my hands are tied.” You may have even heard it from other people, “This promotion is only for people with a certain level of education; my hands are tied.”
Well, the Word of God tells us that things don’t have to remain that way.
“He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.” Psalms 107:14
Notice, that the verse speaks in the past tense. Why? Because it’s already done. God has already broken the chains that have stopped your life.
Perhaps you’ve felt like your life has been in darkness. Bound by chains of addiction, and misery. You always seem to be unemployed, you just missed out on another great opportunity. It seems you can never be happy in love. You are bound by the chains of problems…
Your way out is already available. All you have to do is believe. When you look to God, you are looking to light, life, and freedom. He has already untied your hands so that you can receive the blessings that He has in store for you.
Are you ready to believe?
May the God of the Bible bless you!
