As humans beings we only accept what pleases us. We like nice appearances, good tasting food, beautiful melodies or any type of pleasing sensation. We make our daily choices based on these things. We choose to reject or accept people or things based on what pleases us most.

With God it’s the same, God is only pleased with clean offerings. Your acceptance before the Lord will be decided by the kind of offering you are.

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. (Genesis 8:20)

This Bible reference helps us understand how God makes His decisions. The clean offering that Noah presented to God pleased Him and He immediately gave His promise to Noah and all His offsprings.

Now take a second think about what kind of offering you’ve been giving to God.
When I say offering, I mean… What kind of prayers have you been making, what’s your daily behavior say about your love for God, your choices.

Offering is everything we are and do.

You must first be a pure offering before you can give a clean offering. This means, you must be pure inside before it will show outside.

God accepts the giver before the offering he presents to Him. We can make ourselves acceptable or rejected because of who we are, long before what we do.

Each one of us has to make the choice daily to either be a clean offering before God or an unacceptable one.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
