There is power in the words we speak. There is power in the thoughts we think. If we do not use the tools we have in a positive way, the negative things in life will seem to grow and multiply around us.
“But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.These are the things which defile a man…”
(Matthew 15)
Evil and bad thoughts are like a cancer to the body. How does cancer, or any disease, work? It spreads and spreads until it consumes everything. Unless that disease is stopped somehow, it will continue to grow and develop.
Supernatural faith is the power that God gave to each and everyone of us who believe. So we have power in the words we speak! Let us look at the example of our Lord Jesus when He cursed the fig tree,
“And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, ‘Let no fruit grow on you ever again.’ Immediately the fig tree withered away.”
(Matthew 21:19)
He used His faith and gave a command to the fruitless fig tree. And immediately – not after a few months, but immediately that fig tree withered away.
God allows us to go through problems in life so that our faith may grow stronger and more mature in Him. This does not mean that you will embrace that problem and allow it to grow and develop in your life… of course not!
Just as the fig tree was a problem in our Lord Jesus’ path, and He commanded it to never grow again, so you also can command that sickness in your body to never grow again. You also can command that division and hatred in your house to never grow again, etc.
You have the faith to bring this issue to an end in your life, all you need to do is use it.
