If the eyes are a window to the soul, as it’s commonly said, then what would the mouth be a window to?

For many it’s been a window to destruction, negativity and hopelessness. Instead of gaining strength, you’ve only gained weakness.

What then does it take to be strong? You’ve been looking to gain strength from the words and praise of others and when you don’t receive it you feel as though you’ve lost.

Maybe the only words you’ve ever heard have been used to put you down.

You’ve heard things like:

“You’re not going to make it.” “You’re not good enough.”  “This is not for you.”

“You are worthless”

It sounds harsh, but these are the words so many have heard and it has sculpted their lives. Maybe this is you?

It’s time to refuel. Refuel your thoughts and the idea you have of yourself. You can make it!

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1

Stop getting weaker from negative words. Instead, let your strength come from God. Find refuge in His word, and It will always lift you up!

May the God of the Bible bless you,
