All of us are unique in our own way, and sometimes we have to agree to disagree right?
You might see a glass half full while I see it as being half empty. You might be standing at an angle and you see a number six whilst I see the figure as nine from my angle.
All of us see things in different ways and that’s where the phrase, “It’s a matter of opinion” comes in.
People will sometimes take both sides in order to avoid offending others. They will accept two opinions to avoid a conflict of interest.
Though it’s understandable from a physical point of view. When it comes to spiritual matters, it’s not okay at all! That’s what Elijah wanted the people to understand.
And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. 1 Kings 18:21
In the moment of decision, there is no half and half or middle ground. You have to take a stand and choose. When you choose to do things God’s way, you will see Him do wonders in your life. But His way is tougher, and is challenging. It will require you to take risks and sacrifice. But the results are always amazing.
Believe me when I tell you this; God loves challenges, so don’t fear when you put Him to the test. Go all out! When you have the time read 1 Kings 18 verses 20-40, and see how Elijah went all out to prove the power of God!
May the God of the Bible bless you.
