Try putting out a fire with fire. It simply won’t work. There is an opposite for every instance on Earth. Just as there is a solution when there is a problem, peace when there is bitterness, and joy when there is sadness.
Perhaps you have only ever known one side of things. An unexpected loss, sudden illness, disappointment, failed relationship, and the list goes on. It seems life has dealt you one bad hand after the other, and perhaps you have looked for explanations and solutions in all the wrong places. Think with me… Can darkness bring light to darkness? Of course not. However, many have turned to darkness in hopes it will bring light to their lives.
This darkness comes from a single place. Unfortunately, many are unable to identify it until their case is so far gone. You do not have to wait.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” (John 10:10)
Have you felt robbed, defeated, and destroyed? The “thief” has three jobs, as mentioned in the verse above, but you do not have to accept that outcome. If there is someone who steals, kills, and destroys, then certainly there is Someone who provides, gives life, and restores.
God has the power to bring light to your life. Do not seek answers in the same place that is responsible for your problems.
Your solution will come from the light of God. Seek Him for your answers because He does have a solution for you.
