There are many reasons to shed tears. Perhaps you can remember key moments of your life when crying was the only reaction that you had. The moment your child was born, the moment you got your dream job or even the loss of a family member.

Tears can be a reaction of great joy but unfortunately, it also reflects great sadness. Maybe you have had a lifetime of great sadness. Your tears have been a representation of the course of your life. Your tears are a result of your failing health, your broken home, your crippling depression. You are no stranger to tears, but the Word of God promises that these tears will not last forever.

“…Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Psalms 30:5

Your tears may feel like an immense weight on your shoulders, but you don’t have to carry it alone. You may have been enduring this pain for months or years, or perhaps it seems you’ve never known a life without tears. No matter how long it has been, God has your joy in hand.

Place your sadness, loneliness, fears, and everything that has caused your tears into the hands of God and allow Him to bring you a life of joy. The time for tears has come to an end. Receive joy.

May the God of the Bible bless you
