Two things are certain in life:

1 – the day of our birth

2 – the fact that one day we will draw our last breath.

Although we do not know the actual date of our last breath, wisdom tells us that it would be wise to be prepared. The Word of God says:

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;” John 11:25

Jesus is life. Yes, one day our physical body will fail but our soul has an eternal life span.

This resurrection isn’t for our body, but for our soul. Perhaps even today your soul feels lifeless. Although you have breath in your body, you have only been surviving and not living.

This resurrection only becomes a reality for those who believe and obey what is written in the Word of God. Jesus is always waiting for us to return to Him. However, many find themselves busy with the things they desire to do, old habits, old desires and have yet to take the plunge of surrendering themselves entirely to Him.

The truth is that God knows all about us. He knows our fears, mistakes, short-comings, sins and still calls us to be resurrected. Turning to Jesus is simply us owning up to the mistakes we’ve made and deciding to start living for Jesus.

Your resurrection is possible today. You don’t have to wait. The decision is yours.

May the God of the Bible bless you
