A call is a cry or exclamation made as a summons or to attract someone’s attention.
What better way to get someone’s attention than to call them by their name?
It makes all the difference: no matter where you are, who you are with, once your name is called you stop everything to give your attention to the person who called you.

If we as humans do our best to give attention to those who call us by name, how much more will the Lord? He will surely attend to you and your needs.

This is the best place to call upon His name: from the lowest pit!

I called on Your name, O LORD, From the lowest pit. You have heard my voice. (Lam 3:55)

Do you find yourself at the lowest part of the pit? Maybe this is the worst moment of your life in all your years! You try to dig yourself out of the pit but you find yourself going deeper inside of the pit.

The solution is not inside the pit, you need to look up to the sky and call upon His name.
He is going to hear your voice, He is going to take you out of the pit.

It doesn’t matter what this pit is called.  (sickness, addiction, depression etc.) Do not give up yourself, there is help; there is hope available for you.

The name of Jesus has all the power to rescue you from this pit, go ahead and call upon His name.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
