For many cases in life, things are not exactly black and white; there are some shades of grey. However, when it comes to faith – supernatural faith – it is very black and white. There are two types of people in the world. People who possess the faith for miracles alone, and those who have the faith to endure. By the end of this post, you will find yourself in one of these categories.

We see a great example in the Bible of these 2 types of people.

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.”

(Job 1:1)

Job had the faith to obey God’s commandments. He feared God, and for this reason, he shunned evil. Although God blessed Job with a wife, children, land and many possessions, his focus was on keeping God’s commandments. When the enemy attacked his health, his possessions, killed his children and animals, what did Job do? Did he deny his God? Did he blame God for all his misfortunes? Of course not! On the contrary, he remained faithful to God. Not for a single moment did he turn his back on God or forget about Him.

“In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.”

(Job 1:2)

This my friend, is the faith that endures.

On the other hand, let us take a look at the faith of Job’s wife,

“Then his wife said to him, ‘Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!’”

(Job 2:9)

Let us think together, did his wife think to say these things when she was getting the blessings and miracles from God? I do not think so! However, when things got tough, when problems arose, she was ready to tell Job to curse God.

Isn’t this what we see today? When everything is going well, many are those who forget about God. However, when problems arise, many are those as well who blame God for their misfortunes. God is not to blame for any evil that happens on earth. He will, however, deliver those who cry out to Him from all evil!

The choice is yours my friend, which faith have you held onto? Which category do you fall in? There is still time to repent and return to God. If you were sincere and recognized that you do indeed have this faith for miracles alone, then with that same sincerity, make the decision to obey God’s commands and be faithful to Him.

The storm will not last forever, but those who endure will see the greatness of God in their lives!

“Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning.”

(Job 42:12)

May the God of the Bible bless you
