Life is filled with ups and downs. Some days, we feel strong, full of faith, and ready to overcome any challenge. But on other days, doubts creep in, distractions pull us away, and you may even question if continuing in the faith is worth it. This is why Jesus warned us to remain in Him.
Many start their journey with God filled with passion, but over time, the worries of life, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desire for other things choke their faith. They begin to drift away, little by little, until one day, they find themselves far from God.
“If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5
The secret to a strong spiritual life is to remain in Jesus, no matter what happens. Whether you are facing trials, feeling distant, or even struggling with sin, do not walk away from Him. The devil’s greatest strategy is to make you believe that you are too weak, too sinful, or too far gone for God to accept you. But that is a lie.
Perhaps you have noticed that your faith is not as strong as before. Maybe your prayers have become infrequent, your first love has faded, or the things of God no longer excite you as they once did. This is a wake-up call. Do not let your relationship with God grow cold. Make the decision today to remain in Him, no matter what.
“But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.” — Matthew 24:13
May the God of the Bible bless you!
