A farmer plants a seed in the ground. As months pass by a tree grows, the leaves form and fruit is produced. The process takes time but at the end of the day, there is no seed that is planted that wont bear fruit.

The same can be said about the actions we take in life. Every decision is another seed planted and sooner or later we will see the fruit in our lives. It is evident in every day things; in the food we eat, the attitudes we have, the people we share our lives with and so on. Our lives today are a reflection of the choices we made years ago.

“… The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.” Ezekiel 18:20

When a person chooses to do what is righteous before God, they see His righteousness. Their life becomes the fruit of the seed they plant in their faith. As a result their family is blessed, their health is made whole, their finances are successful and above all, their soul is at peace. Now, on the contrary, it can be said that the opposite effect happens when a person plants their seed in this world, without God.

Be careful where you plant your seed. If your life has been producing the wrong fruits, it isn’t too late to start planting new seeds. Sow in the Word of God and see the fruits that He can produce in your life.

May the God of the Bible bless you,
