Normally children resemble their parents. They have similar features, gestures, manners, and speech, simply because they have their parents’ genes within them.

Many people say, “I am a child of God,” but as we look at their lives, we don’t see the same characteristics of God in them.

We cannot physically resemble God, because the Almighty is Spirit. Still, we can indeed have His characteristics if our life resembles the life that the Bible teaches us that we should have. And if we live a life according to what the Bible says.

“Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will suffice us. Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still don’t know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’ (John 14:9)

The Almighty wants you to be born of Him and to have the same genes as Him. God wants everyone to look at you and see Him.

If you recognize that you say, ‘God is my father!’ Yet you are living a life of misery, sadness, depression, health, financial problems, and your family is torn apart.

It’s time to be born of God and to have the Holy Spirit within you. Seek Him, ask Him and show Him the desire to be His child, and God will answer your prayers.

May the God of the Bible bless you,

Bishop Bira Joshua
