It’s not often that we search for help and receive it with no strings attached. For example, do you remember the time your car made that strange noise and you took it to the mechanic only to be handed a huge bill before even knowing what the problem was? Or the time you went to the doctor with pain, and the physician tried, to the best of their ability, to help you, but it came with numerous tests, medicines, and bills?
King David had a problem, and he also called out for help. However, because he sought help from the Lord, he was able to get that help with no bills—no strings attached.
“O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.” Psalms 30:2
This healing isn’t only for King David. You also have access to cry out to God. Perhaps you have been crying out left and right, but no one can truly get to the root of your problem. Instead of looking left and right, look up. When you cry out to God, He immediately opens His ears to your cry. He brings the solution and healing that you need. Maybe your healing is not physical but spiritual, and you are desperate for an answer. Take the initiative that King David did. Cry out to God right now, wherever you are, and know that He listens to you and will help you.
