When you look at society today, you see so many people killing themselves, entering rehabs, overdosing on drugs, hurting others, and so forth and so on. You even see people committing suicide or becoming so down simply because someone made a mean comment about them on social media, or because their picture didn’t get enough likes. This is the reality we see around us everyday.

But why are these people so miserable? Because they have yet to make Jesus number one in their lives. They put their appearance, their career, their family, their possessions, and everything else above God and so they can not receive help or strength from Him. The Word of God says;

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

When a person makes Jesus their number one, they no longer feel like their life depends on what other people think of them or what they possess. It’s only then that life begins to have true meaning.

But as long as you put your life first, and your “things” in first place, you will always be chasing either those things, new things, or something else that will come up. And in the end, your life will never be fulfilled.

Make Jesus your number one by giving your life and your will to Him, and He will lead you into total happiness.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
