Imagine yourself carrying heavy bags for a long distance. At first, you may even believe you can handle the weight on your own. But with every step, the load becomes heavier. Your arms start to ache, you become slower, and what seemed manageable in the beginning starts feeling overwhelming. Relief comes only when you set the burden down or allow someone stronger to help carry it.

If this has been you lately, carrying the burdens all alone, hear these words from Jesus:

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Notice that Jesus does not say, “Come to Me when you have everything figured out.” He does not say, “Come after you have fixed your mistakes.” He simply says, “Come to Me.”

The worries keep you awake at night. The pain seems endless. Your heart feels restless, and peace feels out of reach. In those moments, some people begin to wonder if faith is worth holding on to at all.

Many people live this way spiritually, trying to bear every worry, fear, and disappointment alone. Jesus invites us to stop carrying what is crushing us and bring it to Him.
No matter how deep your struggle may be, you can come to Him. Whether you are battling doubt, fear, addiction, disappointment, or simply feeling spiritually heavy, Jesus is inviting you to bring it all to Him.

Today, instead of walking away from faith, take one step toward God. Call out to Him with the burdens you have been carrying. You do not have to carry your burdens alone. Come to Him.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
