It’s easy to recognize when something is losing its strength. A car with a dying battery has difficulty starting. A remote control in need of new batteries usually needs a more aggressive touch in order to change the channel. When it’s time for a new cell phone, you can usually tell through the glitches here and there.

And you… have you been losing your strength? You may notice little things. Perhaps you wake up and feel as though you would rather just stay in bed. Your battery has been running low and you’ve been losing your strength and as a result losing your peace. The things that once motivated you, don’t anymore. Those moments that once brought you peace, now bring you anxiety.

Every now and again we are all in need of a recharge, and the word of God promises us just that when it says:

“The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.”
Psalms 29:11

This is what God does for us. He gives us more. More peace and more strength than we can find anywhere in this world.

So if your battery is running low, look to God and receive the strength and peace that you need. Talk to Him, read His word and follow what He says to do, and you’ll be recharged before you know it.

May the God of the Bible bless you,
