Right now the world is on high alert. Everyone is weary and worried about what will happen in the future. And no one knows what will come next. Today, if you go on the highway, it is empty. The gyms are closed, many stores are closed, and other places that normally boom with business are all closed.

Few are those that you will find who are expecting good things. But many are expecting the worst, watching the news everyday, just waiting to hear that something horrible is coming. Actually, some think that the world will end any minute!

The reality is, that no one knows the day, month or hour that the Lord Jesus will return. He says clearly in Matthew,

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

(Matthew 24:36)

So no one knows when Jesus will return. It will not be like the announcements of today with the Coronavirus. It will not be spread all over the news for everyone to see. He will come as a “thief in the night”, at a time when others are least expecting it.

What we all must do is be prepared. We must live day by day in a spiritual expectation of His return, but not worrying about the exact moment in which it will take place. Our duty is to live a clean life. Our responsibility is to do the will of God now, and be ready for whenever He does return or when we leave this earth.

When you live each and every day as if it were the day of Jesus’ return, you will not be fearful or worried about anything, because He will reassure you constantly.

May the God of the Bible bless you
