Wouldn’t it be nice if you went to pay a bill and were told that it was already taken care of? What a weight it would be off your shoulders. Perhaps you would even try to find out who it is just to thank them for their generosity. But did you know that we live every day with someone who has already paid a price for us?
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” (John 10:11)
The good news is that Jesus already gave His life for you, so that means that no sin, no shame, and no mistake can separate you from Him. Although at times you may fall, He picks you back up. Perhaps you are in a moment when you have fallen away from God and think there is no way to get back to Him, but He has never abandoned you.
He already paid the price for you. Go to Him without fear because He will take care of you like a shepherd cares for his sheep. If you have strayed away, then go knowing that He has already forgiven you.
