If you give specific instructions to your child and let them know exactly what will happen if they do it, what do you expect from them? Obviously, to obey. But if they decide to do part of what you requested and the other part to ignore… Then what will you do? Perhaps you’d be upset or at least you would not do what you told them you’d do if they followed your directions.

The exact same rules apply to God. He will never bless or change the life of someone who will not do things His way. He doesn’t have to negotiate, or bend His Will. We must be willing to obey it, no matter how difficult it may be to obey.

The Word of God says,

If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; Isaiah 1:19

You see the secret to receiving the blessing in this verse. And this was the same attitude that was in Abraham. He obeyed the Voice of God, even when it was the hardest thing ever to do. And the results of his life was a total transformation and to become the blessing itself.

If you want to receive anything from God, the first step is to listen to His voice and obey. From there you will began to see the changes.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
