Whenever we say the phrase, “God willing” we are not truly believing in the power of God or in what He promises in His word. When we say: things such as

“If it is God’s will I will be happy”

“If it is God’s will, I will be healed”

“If it is God’s will I will have a family”

“If it is God’s will I will own my own house.”

It isn’t a matter of whether it is God’s will or not. It is if it is your will. God does want all of these things for you. We often wait for God when He is the One waiting for us to step forward. It is like the story in the Bible of the man who went to Jesus with leprosy.

Look at what the Bible says about him:

And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8: 2-3

Jesus wanted that man to be healed. Jesus saw that this man came to Him seeking help so why would He not want to help him?

He also wants you to be blessed but you have to go to Him. If you ask “Is it God’s will?” The answer is yes, it is. The real question is, do you want this blessing? God’s part is already done because He wants the best for you but you have to want it for yourself.

May the God of the Bible bless you,
