Consider the list below:

– Skills

– Knowledge

– Fame

– Harmonious family

– Financial success

– Good physical appearance and health.

Who doesn’t desire to have all of these attributes? But many delude themselves when they rely on these attributes to fill their inner emptiness.

There are two kinds of people in the world. The first kind is those who depend on themselves, material things, or others. They may have many attributes, but they are, in actuality, insecure. If they face a difficult situation and can’t control the situation, it is like the rug was pulled from up under their feet.

The second type of person leans on God. They are not rattled by a problem because they depend on God. But to depend on God, one needs faith.

We all have faith within us, however, just as prayer without action does not work, faith without action is dead.

The Bible says:

“For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26)

Take action. But depend on God. Because if you trust in your own strength, sooner or later, it will fail you. Faith gives us the confidence to rely on God.

May the God of the Bible bless you,
