When someone says, “My life is so – so,” “I can’t complain,” or “I’m not too bad.” What they are really trying to say is: “I am not satisfied with my life, but I feel trapped.”

Perhaps this someone is you. You endure the life you are living, taking it one day at a time, but it’s not the life you always wanted – it’s not how you pictured your life would be.

You know your life is not moving forward, but deep down you know that you lack the faith you need in order to change the course of your life. It all seems like it is too much to handle, too overwhelming…

However friend, 2020 has only just begun! It is a new year; forget the old and you will be able to see that this year is full of opportunities. There is no better time to take control of your life! When Moses died, Joshua was devastated. He froze! He lacked the faith he needed to lead the children of Israel to the promised land. It wasn’t until he heard the voice of God saying,

“Only be strong and very courageous…” (Joshua 1:7)

That he was able to arise, take control and conquer the life God had prepared for him and all the children of Israel.

Was it easy? Of course not! So much so that God had to repeat it three times to Joshua before arose. But friends, he AROSE!

Arise, and go after the life you want. Let God be your guide and you will succeed. Do not be afraid to be bold and take control of your life. God is with you! After all, He did promise saying,

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

So you have absolutely NOTHING to lose!

May the God of the Bible bless you
