If I ask you who all you’ve spoken to today, you’d probably not even be able to count the number of people. Just as if I asked how many voices you’ve heard over the past few days. There are so many people who we speak to and listen to everyday. From co-workers to store clerks, to doctors, to lawyers, family members and so forth. The voices are endless.

But let me ask you a different question… has God spoken to you lately? Have you heard the voice of God recently?

If your answer is no then the next question is “why not?” Why has God been unable to speak to you? The only answer to that question is because you have been unwilling to listen to Him.

I’m not saying this to put you down, but I’m being honest. You have to be willing to hear His voice, otherwise He can not speak.

The Word of God says,

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

(Psalm 119:105)

God will use His word to light your path… if you allow it to. But you have to be in touch with Him. You have to constantly have Him on your mind. For example, when you are driving, when you are walking through the grocery store, when you are in the shower or even when you are laying down to sleep… think about God and speak to Him, then ask Him to guide and direct you, and He will speak. He will not speak with an audible voice, but He will speak inside of you. And it will be clear and direct what He wants from you.

Start doing this right away and it will change your life forever.

May the God of the Bible bless you,

Bishop Joshua Fonseca
