So many of us have fallen into a diet or two. Preparing for a special occasion, a big day, or trying to see a quick change. Many try to get healthier foods and definitely cut out the things they deem “unhealthy.” There are some foods they simply won’t touch!

We can go to the extreme when caring for the body and often forget about the soul. No sugar, no carbs, no meat and the list goes on. Don’t touch that! Don’t even look at it. How quickly we sacrifice for our physical bodies.

Don’t misunderstand, our health is important but we cannot ignore the health of our soul. The Bible describes the care we must have perfectly:

“For I am the Lord your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth. For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”
Leviticus 11:44-45

Be holy, separate yourself for God. Don’t touch those things that could jeopardize your spiritual health (soul). Do not defile yourself with the ugly things of the world when God has already separated you for holiness. He brought your out of darkness, cling to Him and remain in the light.
