Which of these was a favorite childhood game?

Soccer
Basketball
Cricket
See Saw

Most games are played with teammates and the victory depends on the way the teammates communicate with each other. If one person fails to pass the ball in the right moment, it can be that action which determines the winning side from the losing side.

On the other hand, with the games such as See Saw, only two people are needed. Therefore, only one winner can be declared. There is no teamwork involved, it’s either you are your opposition!

Keep this concept in mind when reading the Bible verse below:

For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. (Galatians 5:17)

Life is a constant battle, the flesh (your desire) against the Spirit (the will of God). Sometimes your will can be self-destructive. In moments like this you need to change sides, change your way of thinking and decide to be on the side of the Lord. His will, His desire is only for your good not to harm you.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
(Jeremiah 29:11 )

Once you want what He has to offer go ahead and give Him the permission to work in your life. This action will allow you to be victorious over the constant battles of life!

May the God of the Bible bless you!
