If you kick a dead dog, what will happen? Nothing. But if you kick a living pit bull dog, what will happen? It will probably bite off at least half of you leg.

It is obvious that if a person is dead inside, then they can feel nothing, including anger. But when you are living, you react to things differently. A person with the Holy Spirit is living, so they can not help but feel anger when they see that the will of God is not being carried out.

The difference is, that a person with the Holy Spirit knows how to use and direct the anger that they feel. They do not blow up on people and fight or hurt others. They react with conscious actions of faith to provoke real change. They have self control, so their anger doesn’t lead to sin. That’s what the scripture say,

“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,”

Ephesians 4:26

This is the secret. You can be angry, but don’t let it lead to sin.

If you want to express your anger in the right way, then direct it against evil and let it be fueled by the fire of revolt. Revolt that leads to action on the altar of God through total surrender and sacrifice. When a person takes the anger they feel and direct it against a problem using tools of faith, it can actually produce great results.

But if you are angry and you just keep it inside or take it out on others, then that anger will do nothing but cause you more problems.

The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of justice and fairness, so He fully understands those that have the thirst for justice. He actually supports their faith and anger, because it is backed by the Word of God.

May the God of the Bible bless you
