Have you ever been on the wrong end of a broken promise? Broken promises can be the cause of failed plans and even end friendships. When we are promised something, we have the utmost confidence that it will happen. We often find it easy to put or trust in people who have previously come through for us, forgetting that because we are all human, we are all susceptible to fail.

However, when a person puts his faith upon the Word of God, there is no way that Word will fail. The word of your boss, a judge, a pastor, or a best friend may change but the Word of God never changes. It says so in His word:

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:35

The Word of God never expires. The physical book may get old but the Words never do.

When you have a problem, you should open the Bible and say, “Lord it is written…”, and that problem has to go away.

We often do not use power of the Word as we should. It is meant for more than reading in a religious way, it holds the power to change lives and it can change yours too.

How have you been using the Word?

May the God of the Bible bless you,

Bishop Joshua Fonseca
