Ask, and you shall receive. Many are familiar with this verse. Perhaps you didn’t even know its origin is Biblical, but it is. Time and time again, it’s been used, many Christians have even recited this verse but have yet to uncover the power of asking.
Maybe if we were more like this blind man, we could uncover this power:

So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. Mark 10:51-52

In a matter of minutes, that man’s life completely changed. He didn’t question or think twice about it. He asked for what he wanted. As for you, what is it that you want? Do you want freedom from this curse over your family? Peace, to be able to sleep at night? To break the cycle of disease in your generations? To be financially stable? This and much more is possible, but you must be willing to ask in faith… and this is the lesson: To ask in faith.

I’m sure you have no idea how many prayers you’ve made – how many things you’ve asked for, but yet, in comparison, the answers you have received are few? Therefore, we can conclude that asking alone is not enough, when you ask, you must ask and really believe that God is listening and is able to respond.

Remember, when you ask, you aren’t asking a man, you are asking God. The One who healed the blind. What can He not do for you? Ask and receive.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
