Picture this; you going into business with a friend and the agreement was that each of you will put fifty percent in to get the business started.

On the day of the grand opening you find out that something illegal was done and you both lost all of your investment. The worst part is that there is no way to get back your life savings that you invested into this business. And last but not least, the friend you trusted left the country.

How would that make you feel? Needless to say… angry, betrayed, frustrated, and absolutely revolted!

There is nothing more painful than injustice.

It happened in Bible days and it is still happening today.

Look what the children of Israel went through;

“So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey…they would enter the land to destroy it.”

(Judges 6:2-6)

This was the injustice that caused Gideon to revolt and even complain to God directly. But his complaint was not just empty words. He was ready to back up his complaint with actions of faith. He was prepared to do whatever God would tell him to do to see that situation changed. And that’s exactly what he did.

What injustice are you facing today?

The greatest injustice of all is to believe in the God of the Bible and live a life far away from His promises.

The children of Israel did not accept this injustice and they cried out to the Lord… will you?

May the God of the Bible bless you.
