Many people try to carry their struggles alone. Whether the burden comes from health problems, spiritual struggles, or perhaps family difficulties. God never intended for us to face life’s challenges apart from Him.
Jeremiah 4:19 says:
“Oh, my soul, my soul! I am pained in my very heart! My heart makes a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace…”
Jeremiah did not ignore the burden he felt. He acknowledged it. Likewise, when we face hardship, we do not have to pretend everything is fine or suffer in silence. God invites us to bring our concerns to Him.
Think of a smoke alarm in a house. When it sounds, the solution is not to remove the batteries and ignore the warning. The wise response is to address the issue. In the same way, when burdens arise in our lives, we should not ignore them or try to handle them alone. We should take them to the Lord in prayer and seek His direction through His Word.
God sees what you are facing and cares about every detail of your life. Whatever burden you carry today, remember that you do not have to carry it alone. Trust the Lord, seek His wisdom, and allow Him to help you carry every burden.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
