The clock struck midnight almost a week ago. The fireworks stopped, and the minutes kept ticking on. You have made your resolutions, and now you are working full steam ahead to make those dreams a reality. Each new year brings the hope of new things. Although it simply turns from one day to another, something seems to shift when we think about the calendar starting from day one again.
Unfortunately, the novelty of a new year quickly fades. A week or two passes, and before you know it, we are in the middle of the year, and all of those grand plans are just a distant memory. That doesn’t have to be you. Your life doesn’t have to wait for a new year to become what you want. Your new life begins when it is placed in God’s hands.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Revelation 22:13
With God, all things are possible. It isn’t just a popular Bible verse but a promise for those who believe. He is the beginning of your new life, happy family, prosperity, and good health. He is the beginning. He is with you; you can make it. Six days or six months from now, your faith will be as strong as in the beginning because God is with you.
