There are some things that once they are broken cannot be replaced or put back together. Think back to a favorite childhood toy or a fragile ornament from a special occasion that shattered or ripped apart. Oh, how you wished it could be put back together. There are times when life hits us so hard that it seems we are unable to be put back together.
However, the Word of God assures that no matter how broken you may feel, God can make us new:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you…” Ezekiel 36:26
Your spirit has been crushed, broken, oppressed, depressed but God will remove this spirit of sadness and anxiety within you and give you a new spirit.
A new spirit means a new you and a new life. This new life will be given to you when you hand the old one over to God. Give Him the broken pieces and allow Him to make you new.
