In the world we live in, we are forced to believe in the words of human beings whether we like it or not. No one can say I don’t listen to anybody’s words or I don’t have to hear anybody’s words. We all have to.

For instance, when you go to the doctor, you listen to his words and you even obey them. When you hire a lawyer, you have to believe in his words. Your boss at work, your spouse, your school teacher, even the car salesman that tells you that the car you are buying is a good car.  We have no choice but to listen to and even trust the words of all these people and others.

Many times it’s not even a person that we have to listen to, but we still listen to them, such as friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. The point is, all of us have listened to someone else’s words before and believed them. But why is it so hard to listen to and obey the voice of God? Why do people struggle so hard to believe and obey what He says? It seems that it is easy to discredit or doubt the Word of God, and that is exactly why many people do not see His Word coming to life inside of their lives.

My friend, God will never force you to listen to Him or obey Him, but to those who do listen and obey, He has promised LIFE and BLESSINGS. As it is written:

“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life,”  Deuteronomy 30:19

So the question is, what do you choose?

May the God of the Bible Bless You
