The beauty of a rose. There are poems written about it. It is used to compare a person’s beauty. A rose holds a unique beauty. However, this beauty does not last forever. In fact, the average life expectancy of a rose is about a week once it is cut. It is like the beauty of many things today. Nothing lasts forever.
However, there is one thing that has no expiration and always yields results. The Word of God is described as standing forever:
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8
The Word of God is filled with the promises of God, the answers to all of our questions, the solutions to all of our problems and it is forever. This is why it is so important to stay grounded in the Word of God.
Life will not always be a bed of roses but when you have the Word of God; which never fails or withers embedded in your life, you will always have a solution. Put your trust in His Word, it will never let you down.
