There is one thing that every human being has in common. No matter their social class, no matter how famous or anonymous they are, no matter their skin color or hair color. Physical appearance and social status don’t matter. All of us can do it.

That something in common is the ability to connect with God no matter where or what you’re doing. You have access to Him 24 hours a day.

However, many distractions these days try to prevent this direct connection with God. One of these distractions is cell phones and social media. For others, the most common excuse is lack of time.

You don’t need to be inside the church to talk to God. Wherever you are, you can be in the presence of God.

These are the words of God Himself described in the book of Genesis that He spoke to Abraham, and today He says to you and me:
“…I am God Almighty, walk in my presence and be perfect.” Genesis 17.1

To be in the presence of God, you need to bring your thoughts to Him, take time in prayer, and connect with the Almighty.

You could be working, driving, cooking, etc. If your thoughts are toward God, you are in His presence.

You need to know no matter what you have done wrong in the past or are doing in the present, if within you there is a desire for change, you can connect with God now. And He will not reject you.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
