I know that this is about to cause controversy, but I’m going to say it anyway!
When you go to Church, Satan goes with you.
There. I said it!
Now let me explain.
You go to church, are faithful in your tithing and generous with your offering. You pray and read the Bible often, but yet, you don’t see a breakthrough in your life. It’s just problem after problem – the kind of problems that take years to be resolved, if they ever do get resolved. You feel as though you have a dark cloud of bad luck following your every move and no matter what you do to advance, something always pulls you back.
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself what the problem could be? The nicest explanation would be to tell you to, ‘give it time’ to, ‘carry your cross until you get to heaven’ or even, ‘that it’s God’s will for you to suffer’. But no. That’s not what is happening here and that is not the explanation you need. You need to hear the truth – no matter how hard it may be to hear, once you know what is going on, then you will know how to fight against it and finally start to see some real results in your life.
Are you ready for the truth?
When Satan has a hold on a person’s life, it’s like he goes back and forth with you to church, mocking your sincere efforts. He enjoys watching people praising God with their lips, while he makes sure that their life shows no praise whatsoever.
It doesn’t mean that God isn’t listening to you when you pray, it just means that negative forces have gotten hold of your life.
It means you need freedom. You need deliverance.
Do you want to be free?
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
Now that you know it is not God’s will for you to suffer, it’s time to use your spiritual weapons of warfare to fight back. Yes, the fight is spiritual and once you take down Satan, you will start to see the physical changes happening – it’s immediate.
Don’t be intimidated or try to accommodate your problems. God has given you power to overcome all of Satan’s evil work. Identify what problem he is causing in your life and then fight back.
God’s got your back.
May the God of the Bible bless you.
