I don’t want to paint a bad picture but I must use these examples to open your mind.

What are the things you hear in the news these days? Always tragic, violent news. For example, someone goes into a school or a shopping mall and kills many people.

The first question that is usually asked is; what could have happened in this persons life for them to commit such a tragic act?

The answer normally comes days or weeks after investigating the lifestyle of the person and you normally hear things like;

So and so used to post violent messages on social media, so and so used to play violent video games, so and so used to listen to violent songs and the list goes on…

The end result was the consequence of what was put (sowed) into the mind of that person.

It’s the same thing spiritually, the Word of God says;

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8)

If you put evil inside of you, then evil will come out of you, through your actions. And the same is with good. If you put good inside of you, then good will come out through your actions.

If you invest in your spiritual life, which is what it means to sow to the Spirit… you will be happy, at peace, able to forgive, and you will give life and not take it.

The Word of God can not lie, if you sow to the flesh you will reap the consequences of the flesh, if you sow to the Spirit you will certainly reap the benefits.

May the God of the Bible bless you.
