No one likes an unfinished story.

A book without an ending leaves readers frustrated.
A song that cuts off mid-chorus feels incomplete.
A puzzle with missing pieces is a disappointment.
An unfulfilled promise creates doubt.

And yet, how often do we look at our own lives and feel like things are left unfinished?

Abraham’s story could have been one of incompleteness. God gave him a promise of becoming the father of many nations, but for years, he had no child. Everything around him seemed to contradict God’s Word. Yet, Abraham didn’t give up.

“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” (Romans 4:20-21)

Abraham understood something crucial: if God starts something, He will finish it.

Maybe you feel like there are unfinished areas in your life—a dream still unfulfilled, a prayer not yet answered, or a promise that feels out of reach.

Remember this: God isn’t done with your story. What feels incomplete to you is still unfolding in His perfect plan. Your part is to keep believing, keep trusting, and keep moving forward.

Don’t let the gaps in your story define you. Let your faith in God’s timing complete the picture.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
