How long does a storm last?
Depending on the category, it might last for days. But it certainly never lasts forever.
How long does a marathon last?
A few hours, perhaps more, but it surely comes to an end. It never lasts forever.
A normal pregnancy lasts for nine months, but even if the child is overdue, the actually pregnancy will not last forever!
The same applies to a presidential term, a test, etc.
No matter what experiences we go through in life, they will not last forever. There is a day when they will come to an end.
Take a look at this Bible verse:
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5
With that in mind, I encourage you to view the problems that you are facing right now as temporary. None of your present tribulations will last forever.
The best part is this: you have something inside of you called faith which holds the key to your victory. This faith is able to put an end to that sickness, the depression, the addiction, and any other problem you are facing.
Determine that your last day of weeping was last night… now experience the joy that comes from the promise that God gives you this morning.
So, the next time you are facing a storm in life, just remember as the old saying goes, “this too shall pass”.
