When a fire breaks out, we look for a fire extinguisher. In the face of danger, we call for help. When someone is drowning, they look for a lifeguard. Safeguards are set in place for almost everything.

There are some things that no one can help us with. What can extinguish a problem in the soul? When a person is drowning in depression, debt, and problems left, right and center, who can rescue them? Here is the answer:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear…” Psalms 46: 1-2

There may be something that has been making you feel weak, something that seems out of your control. You don’t have to face it alone. Place this problem in God’s hands. Find refuge and strength in Him.

The verse is clear. He is very present for you. He is just waiting for you to call on Him for help. When in trouble, do not fear. God is there for you.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
