Your brain is wonderfully powerful. There are many things our brain can do. However, our brain cannot execute two things perfectly and simultaneously.

You can test it right now, grab some objects to count, and try to sing a song simultaneously, and you’ll find that it’s impossible to do both perfectly. Either you’re going to sing, or you’re going to count the objects.

The same happens to us in our lives. As the bible says: “No one can serve two masters” Matthew 6.24

How often have you been between two decisions? To serve the Lord or live your life your own way? It’s time to choose to stay faithful and follow God’s word or do your own will and constantly see bad results.

Just like our brain requires full attention to perform a task perfectly, God has always required real commitment. There is no middle ground.

Turn to God and ask Him to give you the Holy Spirit. Decide not to waver or hesitate between two options (The life in the world, and the life with God).

There is only one way, and there is only one God.

Those who serve the Lord can count on Him because they know that God will provide. Those who don’t, can count on not getting help from Him because he desires our full attention.

May the God of the Bible bless you,

Bishop Bira Joshua
