The Word of God is not far from us:
“It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.” (Deuteronomy 30:12-14)
The Bible is available to you every day.
You don’t have to travel somewhere to find the Word of God. You don’t have to wait for someone to bring it to you. God has already made His Word available to you.
In the days of Samuel, the Word of the LORD was rare:
“… the word of the LORD was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation.” (1 Samuel 3:1)
Today, we have the Bible in our hands. We can read it every day. We can read, meditate on it, and put it into practice.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
