Imagine you are driving a car, and everything is alright—the road is clear, the weather is perfect, and there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Suddenly, you lose control, and it becomes a terrible situation. Panic sets in as you grapple with the terrifying reality of the problem. In moments like these, we feel powerless, realizing we’ve lost control.
Likewise, life can be unpredictable, and it’s not uncommon to encounter obstacles or challenges that can leave us feeling powerless and without control over situations. This feeling of powerlessness can occur when facing sickness, financial struggles, family problems, addiction, depression, spiritual attacks, and other challenging conditions in life.
The book of Exodus describes how the Egyptians oppressed the people of Israel, who had lost control and became enslaved people for many years until they cried out for God’s help.
“And the Lord said: ‘I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey.'” Exodus 3:7-8
God revealed Himself as Savior to His people and wants to do the same for you. God remains unchanged and is always looking for those who want to establish a connection with Him.
Dear friend, have you lost control over a situation? Don’t try to take it back with your physical strength. Instead, give God total control over your life. Who better than God to guide you safely through life’s problems? Surrender your life to Him, and you will experience the peace and joy that comes with His guidance.
Trust in Him and allow God to be the Savior in your life.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
